Time to go public
Well, the time has come to unleash Beardie Weirdie on the unsuspecting public.
For the duration of 2009, to raise some money for good causes, I am pledging to not shave any of my facial hair, and becoming a proper Beardie Weirdie.
The first charity that I have selected is the Pasque Charity. The Pasque Charity incorporating Keech Cottage and the Pasque Hospice provide hospice care within Bedfordshire and surrounding counties.
The process will start properly on New Years Eve with a ceremonial last shave, followed up by weekly blogs. Each post will contain a Beard of the Week, to pay tribute to a public figure sporting a beard. Please feel free to email me nominations for beard of the week.

Yay! Go beardie!
A couple of fellas at work are doing the Movember thing and growing a Mo (That’s tash to us pommies) for the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer. I’m not allowed to play as I have to look less Grizzly Adams-ish when seeing clients. Boo!
I’ll send em all your blog though and see if we can bully up a few more donations.
